We’re very please to share this great story. We have so many amazing volunteers who give so much to make a difference in the lives of GTA kids. Kathy Bodnar is one of our best. Kathy’s been volunteering with the Peer Project for 12 years!

Kathy became a Peer Project mentor at the age of 16. She jumped in a made a huge impact in the life of Tara, her junior (mentee). Twelve years later, they’re still in touch, and both have grown up to be successful professionals and amazing members of their communities.

Mona Dogen, who nominated Kathy, says:

“Kathy is incredibly talented and committed, both civically and philanthropically, and she is without question one of the most outstanding and dedicated volunteers that TPP has known in its 38 year existence. She is the epitome of volunteerism and commitment, and we are very fortunate to have her on our team.”
